Nebraska Heart offers free blood pressure screenings twice a month. Visit the Nebraska Heart table, located next to the customer service desk, at Westfield Shopping Mall in Lincoln.

Take Control of Your Cholesterol

In September, join Beth Brey, Mid-Level Provider, to learn about cholesterol, risk factors, and lifestyle changes to lower your risk of heart disease. Proper treatment of high cholesterol reduces the risk of cardiac death, heart attacks, revascularization procedures, and peripheral artery disease by 25-50 percent.

Would you know what to do if someone close to you needed life-saving CPR? The Nebraska Heart Institute offers free CPR/HeartSaver CPR classes. Classes are held the 4th Wednesday of every other month. Choose a date that best suits your schedule:
